Caged bird,
Is there a poet in cage?
Voice fades by day...
Whispering night echoing within louder.
Caged bird,
Is there a dancer clawing in cage?
Cries breaking open folded body,
Light embedded deep,
A far reach.
Caged bird,
Is there a lover stroking soaked feathers?
Storm swirling under starved skin,
A longing for touch,
for nurturing night sky so wide.
Lonely is your story-
Timeless angel
Caught in Vertical spiral
Broken full wings laid somewhere among gathered leaves.
Poet, dancer, lover, bird,
Falling hard in time,
Falling hard in cage.
This world is sealed.
Primitive wild bird needs jungle.
